Astilleros Unidos S.A., as a professional service provider in the construction and repair of vessels, construction metal structures, and industrial assemblies, is committed and intends to provide safe working conditions to its staff, contractors, subcontractors, clients, and in general to all interested parties in issues related to the dangers and risk control present in its activities. Astilleros Unidos S.A., based on its purpose, size, context, and the specific nature of its risks and opportunities for SSTA and Quality, is committed to:

Promote the implementation of strategies and methodologies for the identification of hazards, assessment, and evaluation of risks, together with the corresponding prevention and control measures, to eliminate or minimize work accidents, occupational diseases, damage to property, and the socio-environmental impact derived from them.
Promote and guarantee the conditions of safety, physical and mental health, and social integrity of our employees, contractors, subcontractors, visitors, suppliers, and clients during the development of work in the workplace and in all those places to which they are commissioned on a service mission, one of its main objectives being to avoid risks and work accidents, as well as occupational diseases, damage to property and environmental impacts.
Design, implement, manage, and keep a management system based on strict compliance with national and international laws, regulations, and standards related to occupational health and safety applicable to the company.
Promote and maintain continuous improvement in the implementation of the Integrated Management System, processes, and performance related to Quality, Safety, and Health at Work and Environment, based on audit findings, analysis of statistics and data, and corrective and improvement actions.
Promote the adoption of safe conduct and strict compliance with the procedures inherent to operations, in accordance with the provisions of our Quality, Safety and Health at Work and Environment Management System.
Establish, implement and maintain processes for the participation and consultation of workers and their representatives in decisions relating to occupational health and safety management.
